Hello and welcome

 

Many waves have moved me to where I am greeting you from in this moment...growing up in south-eastern Ontario, studying music in Montreal, living and working in several different countries around the world, getting married, having children, navigating grief, loss and unexpected events, and swimming in the lakes and rivers and oceans I have encountered in each of these places and times along the way.

My roles as daughter and sister, wife and mother, teacher and learner have all contributed to the conditions in which I am now situated, at this intersection of my past, present and future, in relationships with human and more-than-human entities with whom I intra-act. All of these overlapping waves of different experiences have changed me, and provided me opportunities to affect changes in turn. These diffractions have led me to here, to now, to this. I am excited to share the ideas I have been thinking with throughout my studies in this Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education degree, and I am honoured that you are here.
